The RMUTT Stadium is a new gymnasium in Rajamagala University of Technology Thanyaburi located in Pathum Thani. The new stadium is designed to serve the need of the university students which require an adjustable space for a variety of activities. The stadium consists of two main areas; the gymnasium and the student’s club which can also be use as meeting room, conference hall, sport events, showcase, entertainment, etc.
The façade that surrounded the stadium was inspired by the flower of the university, Gustavia Gracillima. The shape of the façade gives a very nice feeling to the passerby and it also forms a shaded common space around the whole stadium. The roof of the stadium consists of two layers which help the stadium to stay cool all the time, on the other hand, there’s also a light well on the roof which enable natural light to get inside. The plaza in the front connects the stadium with the main road in the university which makes it easy for students to see and interact.
