The Oriental Resident is a residential building sit in the middle of Wireless road area. Since the project is surrounded by the United State Embassy and a shady of Wireless road, what’s left in its vicinity is a large area of trees and gardens. With such a great opportunity, the design main concept can response to nothing but tree.
The building is divided into 3 major zones. The first zone is “The Tree Trunk” zone (1st and 2nd floor) which consists of lobby and entrance. The space on the level of a trunk is a clear area which suit for circulations. The second zone is “The Tree Leaves” zone which consists of residential facility, matching activities of people and jolly leaves together. The last zone is “The Tree Top” zone, a residential area, taking great views of its surroundings.
