In Square

This project was inspired by the existing JJ market, the most famous shopping street in Bangkok. The same pattern of activity is used to form up the whole project. Yet, it has a different approach due to the different scale. The red urban carpet in front of the building was intended to link people from the JJ market up the building. These urban carpet also create the big-multi levels terraces which has different events in each stages. The overall image creates a ‘floating market’ atmosphere that try to blend the traditional Thai street shopping culture with attractive elements together which will create a new way of shopping in Thailand.
